School Aims and Values
For everyone to reach their full potential, loving to learn and learning to love!
We believe that the following values and practices will support this:
Partnership – working with each other, the church, parents, the children and the wider community;
Opportunity – providing this for all children, ensuring they can all succeed in whatever they’re doing;
Trust – by being open and honest with each other we will develop this and work better together;
Enthusiasm – being positive and enthusiastic lifts morale and helps us move the school forward;
Nurture – nurture the good you see in every child, nurture their talents, nurture their self-esteem;
Tolerance – accepting each other and taking an interest in our different opinions and ideas;
Inspiration – the children need to be inspired to be life-long learners but we can also inspire each other;
Aspiration – aim to be the best you can be, and develop this mindset in the children;
Love – care for the children and their well-being, keep them safe but also care about each other.
We are a Church of England school, and our aims, values and ethos are underpinned by Christian values and beliefs.
